Thanks to Dilj Gora, the Požega Mountains and Psunj in the north, the Posavina County abounds in hiking trails, which are taken care of by two mountaineering societies; HPD dilj Gora from Slavonski Brod and HPD Strmac from Nova Gradiška. Dilj gora is ideal for nice walks because the wide range of trails allows for numerous short trips, and the size of the mountains allows for extremely long tours. For most trips from the direction of Slavonski Brod to Dilj Gora, the starting point is the mountain hut “Đuro Pilar” on the outskirts of the city. Psunj is the highest mountain of the Požega Mountains and Slavonia. An important starting point is the Strmec resort.

In addition to the highlands, you can plan the excursion on the shores of Lake Petnja and the reservoir of Ljeskove vode, and of course at Poloj Beach. Or you may prefer to visit a zoo in Ruščica, an ethno estate in Mlaka or a wooden sculpture park in Malino.
