In the small town of Malino, on the road that connects the foothills of the Slavonian Mountains, Slavonski Brod and Nova Gradiška, there is a unique picnic spot that you must visit. On the estate of the Pavletić family, a sculpture park was created from vines.
Arteco is a citizens’ association that makes wood sculptures (mainly vines and olive trees). On the Pavletić estate, they created and are developing a land art park, which includes gazebos for visitors, a real hobbit house, a sales exhibition gallery and, of course, numerous sculptures of animals and characters from literature, all in birth size.
The sculptures are grouped by theme, so walking through the park is a walk through numerous stories.
The park is especially attractive in winter, during the “Christmas Magic” event, when the sculptures are decorated with lights and the picnic area hosts a rich cultural and gastronomic program.
