In 2013, the world’s first tambourine museum was opened in the Brod fortress casemates. In the exhibition you can see tambourines of the four most famous construction systems from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Also, there are plenty of photos, video and audio recordings, plaques, awards… A particularly interesting part of the Museum is the workshop corner where visitors can get an insight into the process of building a tambourine and much more. This is an interactive part where visitors are actively involved in the presentation, so they often try out some of the tambour making tools themselves.
